Current use
The site currently uses local browser storage for language preference and cookie-consent preference. These functions are essential to remember choices. No optional analytics or advertising tracker is loaded by the current implementation.
If analytics, attribution, embedded media, or advertising technologies are added, they must remain blocked until valid consent where required and this policy must list provider, purpose, duration, and access.
Categories
Essential: language, navigation continuity, security, and consent evidence. These cannot be disabled through the preference center because the site cannot remember the user’s privacy choice without them.
Analytics: aggregate audience and performance measurement. Marketing: campaign attribution or personalized promotion. Both are off by default and require an affirmative choice.
Managing and withdrawing consent
Use “Manage cookie preferences” in the footer to accept or reject optional categories. You can change your choice at any time. Browser controls can remove all stored data; the preference banner will then appear again.
Rejecting optional categories does not block the free core experience. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
Storage record
Preference key: bal-cookie-consent-v1 in localStorage. It stores category booleans, policy version, and update timestamp. Language key: bal-locale. Exact optional cookie/provider tables must be published before any optional service is activated.
